Dr. Derek Lambkin earned both his undergraduate degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University, graduating in 2022. After veterinary school, he served in the United States Army as a veterinarian, where he managed his own practice in South Georgia and developed strong skills in leadership and clinical care.

He has since returned to Columbus to be closer to family. His professional interests include reproduction, nutrition, and urgent care, and he is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to every patient.

Outside of work, Dr. Lambkin enjoys spending time with his husband, their two cats, two dogs, and three American Green Tree Frogs. He also loves running, landscaping, and hiking. You can often find him at Lowe's on a Sunday plotting for home projects.
